V600 Edge Paint – Professional Finish for Leather and Technical Materials

A Clean, Even and Durable Edge Finish

V600 edge paint delivers a flat and uniform finish on all types of materials, whether assembled or not. Its formulation provides:

• excellent covering power;
• very good adhesion on leather, synthetic leather and vegan materials;
• intermixable colors;
• a smooth matte finish.

It is perfectly suited for leather goods, saddlery, small leather accessories, belts, bracelets, cases, and leather accessories requiring clean and durable edges.

V600 edge paint can be applied with different tools depending on the desired finish.

Edge Preparation Before Application

For optimal results:

1. The edge must be clean and perfectly degreased.
2. Lightly sand with fine-grit abrasive paper if necessary.
3. Remove dust with a clean cloth before application.

Before use, gently mix the product to avoid the formation of air bubbles.

Application Recommendations

Apply 2 to 3 coats of V600 edge paint depending on the desired finish.

Recommended drying time between coats:

• approximately 3 hours at room temperature;
• approximately 30 minutes in an oven at 60°C.

The paint becomes fully dry after 24 hours.

Recommended application conditions:

• temperature: 15 to 25°C;
• humidity: 30 to 70%.

All products should be kept at room temperature for at least 24 hours before use.

Base Coat and Finish: Optimizing the Result

Using the V600 transparent base coat improves finishing performance:

• seals the leather edge;
• limits excessive absorption of the paint;
• improves adhesion and finish uniformity.

Topcoat 600 can then be used to achieve a matte finish.
