Usage recommendations
An end punch requires a strong striking force and a stable working surface to ensure a perfect cut. We recommend using:

a suitable mallet (for example, our 880 g ABS mallet);

a hardwood striking block or an Ertalon cutting board to protect the cutting edge;

Direct striking on a metal surface (such as a workbench) is strongly discouraged to preserve the sharpness and lifespan of the tool;

for large punches, we recommend working on a very sturdy workbench to avoid rebound.
